About me and my therapy practice

Welcome to my profile. I’m a fully qualified counsellor & registered member of BACP.

At some point in our lives we may feel overwhelmed, numb, sad or stuck & may feel we cannot cope. These feelings often affect our work, personal life & relationships. This is where counselling can help.

Counselling is a confidential space for you to talk about what is really going on. It’s different to talking to family or friends; counsellors are professionally trained to support long term growth & change.

In my experience, the moment you decide to get in touch you’re closer to finding answers to the issues that are troubling you. As counselling progresses you will begin to understand what the difficulties are & begin working towards managing, solving & changing things.

As unique individuals we see & experience the world in different ways, therefore my approach to counselling is integrative which simply means I use a range of theories & approaches to support you, such as Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I offer an initial assessment for £30. At the end of this assessment session a tailored programme of work will be agreed between us that is unique to your individual needs.

Whatever your reasons, I know how difficult it is make the first move to see a counsellor & I will therefore aim to see you as soon as possible after your initial contact. If you need any further information, please contact me for a free telephone discussion. Please remember you are under no obligation to make an appointment.
