About me and my therapy practice
Many people find themselves struggling with difficult feelings, painful experiences and a sense of not living the life they want. When the things that used to work stop working, it's hard to know what to do. You might feel very stuck, but perhaps the idea of things changing is daunting too.
I work from a psychodynamic perspective, which considers our unconscious motivations and feelings. Gaining insight into what the past may have taught, and what has been set up in response, can enable you to be more in tune with deeper parts of yourself, regain your appetite and make the changes that feel right.
Identifying the underlying nature of problems can be empowering and enable you to face those challenges which currently feel overwhelming. You will have more choice about the ways you want to go on living. I can provide the time in a safe environment for us to explore and start to understand what is going on for you.
