Availability

I currently work on Zoom and in-person. I provide weekly 50-minute sessions. All you need is a quiet, confidential place where you feel safe to talk. Please contact me for my availability.

I offer a 20-minute free telephone or Zoom introduction meeting, during which I’ll listen to what you’re hoping to achieve, explain a little more about the process and answer any questions you may have. There is no obligation to decide there and then, you are welcome to go away and think about whether we are the right fit.

About me and my therapy practice

Life can be so busy, leaving little or no time for nurturing our mental health. Therapy is the ultimate in self care.

It’s been a tough couple of years, on top of whatever else might have been going on for you, and it’s understandable not to know where to turn next. It’s important to know you’re not alone.

I am a qualified counselling psychotherapist. I offer a safe, neutral, non-judgmental space to explore any thoughts or feelings that have been prominent in your life, whether in the past, the present or quite possibly both.

I use an integrative approach, which means I use a combination of therapeutic styles that bring together different elements of specific therapies.

Practice description

I work with a diverse range of clients from many differing backgrounds and cultures, as well as the wide range of issues they bring. Clients describe me as warm, safe and non-judgemental, creating a comfortable environment to allow people to talk openly, often about things they have been carrying their whole lives. A client once said to me, ‘I can’t wait to tell my friends that counselling actually works!’

I welcome clients who are facing any number of issues. I have experience working with bereavement, loss, child-loss, miscarriage, depression, cancer, anxiety, family, relationships, divorce, identity including supporting LGBTQ+ and BAME clients, sexuality, suicidal feelings and ideation, self-harm, sexual assault, clients in crisis, abuse, addiction, anger, PTSD, personal development, self-esteem, sex-related issues, social anxiety and stress.

Therapy can help and support you through any difficult period of your life.

My first session

Our first session together is an opportunity to see if you feel comfortable talking with me. It gives you an insight into the experience of therapy and enables you to ask any questions you may have about the process.

It’s understandable to feel nervous whether you are new to therapy, or even if you aren’t. Wherever you are, I will meet you there.

What I can help with

Abuse, Addictions, AIDS/HIV, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cancer, Child related issues, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Cultural issues, Depression, Disability, Health related issues, Identity issues, Loss, Men's issues, Personal development, Post-traumatic stress, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Substance Dependency, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues
