About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling anxious or depressed? Are you stressed at work? Feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands and challenges? Do you need help to cope with change or loss?
I can offer a safe, confidential environment where you can express your concerns without fear of judgement and be confident you will be heard and understood. I can help you unravel your issues and gain clarity and insight into what is going on for you. Together we can explore ways to move forward.
You may be looking for short-term, solution-focused therapy to fix a specific problem you have become stuck with, or you may be looking for a more open-ended approach to make sense of your past. You may not know! But I have experience of both.
The heart of my practice is a Person-Centred approach, but as an integrative counsellor I have training and experience in other types of therapy. This means that I can adopt approaches and techniques specifically tailored to you as and when the need arises.
Generally, the approach I use is organic and flexible but I do have a specific CBT-based program which I use for Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD).
My first session
Before any commitment to therapy, I offer a free, no obligation 20 minute phone-call or video-call where I can explain how I work and how counselling sessions with me might progress. You in turn can ask me any questions you may have and decide whether you think we can work together.
