About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified, experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, with many hundreds of hours of experience of working with adults in a number of professional clinics.
Right now -due to Covid-19- much of my work is on-line over Zoom, or on the telephone.
I also offer Walk and Talk therapy. Many clients find getting out of the therapy room and talking 'shoulder to shoulder' really helpful. It can be especially useful at times when we feel 'stuck'. In our first session, we can decide if Walk and Talk would be suitable.
I am trained to work psychotherapeutically, helping you to explore your past experiences and enabling you to make sense of how these might be affecting your relationships with friends, family, work and the world around you.
I integrate elements of CBT therapy in to my practice, enabling you to break-down overwhelming problems and focus on a way forwards.
My first session
We would have an initial session to discuss whatever it is you would like to get out of counselling.
Many of my clients are unsure what they want from counselling, but have a deep sense that they want something to change.
