About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced and fully qualified psychotherapist and counsellor based in Crouch End, north London.
Starting therapy can be a daunting process and I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space which is dedicated to you. It is a place where you can explore yourself, your thoughts, your needs, your relationships and your emotions. There is no fixed way of working and you may start by simply talking about what is troubling you. Gradually we will begin to find patterns in the ways that you relate to others, to yourself and to your emotions and it is in these patterns that most of our problems can be located and worked with. A good therapeutic relationship creates a supportive environment in which difficulties, emotions and patterns of behaviour can be not only talked about but also in some unique way be experienced together.
I work with clients on a wide range of difficulties related to relationships, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, mood swings, trauma, bereavement, hopelessness, addictions etc. I believe that psychotherapy is immensely beneficial in uncovering self-limiting beliefs and behavioural patterns (which are usually unconscious) and opening up new ways of thinking, feeling and relating. This can bring about change, personal growth and lead to a much happier, more productive and creative way of being.
If you would like to take the next step, feel free to contact me to arrange an initial consultation. Therapy sessions cost £70, last for 50 minutes and take place at the same time every week. There is a fixed fee of £100 for the initial consultation which lasts for up to 90 minutes.
