About me and my therapy practice

If you're reading these lines and reached this far, congratulations: you've just completed the first step for a new life although it might not feel like that.

Right now you might feel confused or believe you lost control over important aspects of your life or lost important people and relationships.

This might be occupying a lot of your thoughts and mind.

If this is your case, then allow me to share something with you:

As human being, I lived and witnessed this and can reassure you this is a common experience throughout humanity and throughout time.

One of the lessons I honestly learned is, by sharing and reflecting, we experience less isolation, we expand our natural capacity of creating new meanings about ourselves, our lives and about lived adverse experiences.

It is also in this process that we increase contentment and acceptance with who we are and about others alongside the recognition we all deserve to live a more complete and fulfilling life. We become more hopeful and this is what I can offer you on our sessions.

If you are still not sure if am the right person after reading my information, then please do get in touch. A short telephone conversation would give you a better idea and even if I am not the right person then I might be able to suggest somebody else.

Practice description

My name is Celia De Lima and I hold a BSc (Hons) in Systemic Counselling from The Family Institute at University of South Wales and I am a member of the BACP. I also hold a Level 5 Certificate in Couples Counselling accredited by CORST.

Systemic Counselling is an evidenced strength-based approach that sees the individual in relationships with others rather than in isolation. Its core is to look at contexts, environments, and relationships (family, work, friends) alongside events, emotions, and feelings (trauma, anxiety, loneliness, bereavement, and loss) emerging from these interactions.

Do not hesitate in contact me so we can discuss your availability.
