About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and Eye Movements Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist and a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist/ Counsellor. I have BA in integrative counselling and PGD in CBT, EMDR counselling. I have extensive experience in offering CBT, EMDR and psychotherapy. I am an enthusiastic, multi skilled, well-motivated, resilient, compassionate, emphatic, experienced counsellor. I am dedicated to providing exceptional psychological treatments to adults, children and couple experiencing emotional and psychological problems including all anxiety disorders, PTSD, depression, anger issues, sexual problems, loss, eating disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder etc. I have substantial experience of providing both long and short therapy to diverse client groups: individual, couple and groups within NHS, EAP, health insurances, organisations and in private practice. In addition, I have extensive experience of working creatively and therapeutically with teenagers and children.
I aim to provide you with a confidential opportunity to explore personal and relational issues in safety. My role as your counsellor is to help you through this process without criticising, judgement or telling you what to do. I may on occasions give information or offer suggestions.
Due to the Pandemic, I only offer online therapy at the moment. My practice offers an immediate response through online and telephone counselling, as I believe that this can help reduce distress and waiting times. Online & email booking lets you arrange to talk to me before the meeting. This means that you and I will decide the number of sessions you require together. As a therapist I am committed to the individual. This is what makes therapy with me different.

My first session
In your first session you will have an assessment and will be required to answer some personal questions which would help me as understand your issues. In your preceding sessions, I would encourage you to express your feelings and emotions and as you talk about your issues I would be able to help you gain a better understanding of what your issues and your thought processes are as well as help you explore ways of dealing with them. During session, we set goals agreed between client and the therapist. The client agrees to work towards the agreed goals. If at any time I feel I can no longer help you, I will offer to refer you to someone who can.
