About me and my therapy practice
When life is full of changes and challenges, what we need most is to feel heard, understood, valued, respected, safe and supported. As your counsellor, I can provide you with a private, empathic and non-judgemental space, away from your everyday life, in which to talk about and explore the difficulties that are holding you back from the life you wish to live. You might want to find new ways of coping with difficulties or you might want to work through difficult life events. You might be thinking about what you want your life to look like in the future, but need to challenge a lack of confidence or sense of purpose. Counselling is not about giving you advice or finding solutions for you, but about empowering you to find your own answers, as the expert in your own life. I work with and welcome people from all walks of life and all backgrounds.
My approach to therapy is a Humanistic Integrative one, where you will be at the centre of the work we do together. I draw on the Person-Centred approach as well as CBT and Mindfulness, working in a trauma-informed way. My aim is to create the right conditions for you to be able to increase your understanding and self-awareness as you move towards positive change.
I deeply believe that everyone without exception has the potential to lead a fulfilled, meaningful and happy life and I feel it would be a great privilege to work with you, supporting you in your journey.
Sessions are 60 minutes long.

I offer a free, no obligation 60 minute initial assessment appointment so that we can talk about the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, your hopes and expectations for counselling, whether it would be helpful for you, and if I am the right therapist for you.
