About me and my therapy practice
I believe the client is his/her own expert and my role is to help facilitate their healing and growth by listening with concern and without judgement within a safe and supportive environment. The client is encouraged to focus on themselves and to express their story plus feelings whilst I feedback what I notice, understand and sense enabling them to gain a greater understanding of themselves and discover new ways of coping with their difficulties. I'll offer information and coping strategies where appropriate.
With many years of therapeutic experience plus hundreds of hours of continuing professional development behind me I trust that the client will draw out of me what they personally need for their own recovery and progression.
"And the time came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom" - Anais Nin
