About me and my therapy practice
I provide long term, open ended and short term face to face Psychodynamic counselling/psychotherapy to individuals and couples, who as a result of traumatic life events experienced in both childhood and adulthood have felt they have been unable to cope with or make sense of life. I work with individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety, Anxiety Disorders, Depression and those who are genuinely interested in exploring themselves and are looking for self knowledge and awareness as to why they behave the way they do, as well as trying to understand and change "negative" behaviours, will benefit most from the therapy that I offer.
I work within the psychodynamic model of psychotherapy. This therapy focuses on revealing the unconscious content of an individual's psyche to help understand the difficulties that are being experienced by you, the individual. This therapy helps you to understand your deep rooted emotions and behaviours.
Our psyche can bury into our unconscious painful feelings and memories which are to difficult for our conscious mind to process. As a result of this, we can sometimes behave in ways which we do not understand. Psychodynamic psychotherapy helps you identify, explore, understand and hopefully change these behaviours.
My Private Practice is located in a quiet residential street, separated from and at the rear of my residential property in East London.
