I have an interest and specialise in working with attachment again withIn adults and young people. Within my work I always adhere to confidentiality and the ethical boundaries whilst liaising with parents/carers and I also offer parental support.
I provide both short term and long term therapy focusing on helping you to better understand and manage the issues that challenge you and to identify and build on your strengths. I will use various approaches these include Peron Centred theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brief solution focused Therapy, Psychodynamic theory and systemic therapy
I offer counselling sessions at our Leek offices and within a open care farm. Make that step, make a change in your life where I will be able to build and support you within a safe space to explore yourself and explore whats troubling you.
My first session
Our journey would begin when you initially make that call, text or email.
We would discuss and talk on how I can best support yourself. I would usually offer a initial meeting, with the view to continue and begin our first counselling journey.
Within the first meeting we would again discuss how we can best support yourself, what your hopes are from counselling and how I work as a counsellor. I would discuss the counselling journey and discuss the therapeutic agreement between ourselves.
