About me and my therapy practice
Everyone experiences emotional difficulties at times and sometimes they can be overwhelming. I work with respect alongside you as a fellow human being but bringing a special kind of deep attention to you and your life. The therapy hour is a space held open just for you on a regular basis, usually weekly. It is a space outside of the day to day stresses to sit, talk, express, reflect and imagine.
My aim is to make a place for your suffering and accompany you on your journey towards a better understanding of yourself and your path in life. I am trained as an Integrative Psychosynthesis Psychotherapist; this training emphasises the importance of the soul, the essential quality of the imagination and finding a place for all parts of ourselves to exist, including the excluded, forgotten and neglected. It is a soulful approach which values creative ways of coping with difficulties, disappointments, trauma and loss.
I usually work face to face with you as an individual but am available for online counselling in addition.
The first session is not charged as I view this time as an opportunity to get to know each other a little and discuss your needs.
