About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor/therapist and my approach to therapy has been informed by both person-centred and psychodynamic approaches, as well as attention to what our bodies might hold and can tell us. I have worked in the voluntary sector with homeless and vulnerable adults and have been a volunteer counsellor for a LGBTQ charity. I also have experience teaching and working in Higher Education.
Practice description
As a therapist I offer a non-judgemental space for clients to explore whatever they want to bring. Perhaps something in your life is no longer working or has become too difficult to bear. It might be that your customary ways of living or relating no longer serve you or no longer feel possible. Therapy provides opportunities to think, feel and reflect on what is happening, on your past, and on your internal and external worlds, and how these experiences have shaped your present. Therapy is a place where you can be curious and take risks and where I will provide a holding and relational space where all parts of you are welcome.
My first session
I offer an initial, no fee, 15 minute phone or online conversation where we can meet, ask questions and find out more about what you are hoping for in terms of your therapy.
