About me and my therapy practice
I can offer a safe, confidential and reassuring space to talk about how you are feeling and help you manage the emotional issues you are experiencing. A lack of self-confidence, and poor self esteem can cause stress, anxiety and sadness as well as causing problems with relationships. My approach is to help you to find constructive pathways to address and manage these problems. There is no agenda, and no pressure and completely non-judgemental.
Over the course of your sessions I will help you manage your emotions and to become aware of unconscious thoughts that might be driving unhelpful and distressing feelings, creating anxiety and low mood. You will be able to make links between seemingly unrelated thoughts, feelings and experiences which will help in finding a way though these difficulties.
I started my private practice 5 years ago and work with adults aged 18+. My training is in the Psychodynamic approach, I am also experienced in integrating this approach with CBT, Solution Focussed therapy and Transactional Analysis.
