About me and my therapy practice
BACP accredited counsellor, Bupa/Aviva approved, with over twenty years experience, in Crawley RH10 1LW, offering safe accepting space for you to bring whatever you need to speak about. Currently offering counselling via Zoom, Skype, Video WhatsApp or telephone.
Perhaps you need support for anxiety/depression/something causing you distress.
Having a space to speak and be heard in counselling can help you clarify issues that may be causing confusion at the moment. Counselling can be a space to speak in a way in which it may not be possible to speak with friends and family.
Being heard in counselling can help you come to a deeper understanding of yourself and what matters. Counselling aims to support you as you begin to come to terms with the unchangeable. Counselling supports you as you discover changes you can, and want to make. Counselling supports you in putting these changes into practise in a what that these changes are sustained.
The quality of the relationship you and your counsellor create together (known as the therapeutic alliance) plays an important part in any change.
Our first meeting together gives you a sense of how you will feel working with me and an opportunity to talk about your counselling needs. These needs can change over time as you progress.
If we decide to work together counselling will be on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

I offer many years experience supporting people with various issues e.g. anxiety, low mood, bereavement, a change in life conditions, addictive/unhelpful behaviours, workplace and personal issues, personal growth. Also experienced in supporting people with trauma who may be going through a personal injury claim.
I am experienced in working in many styles of counselling including cogntive behavioural therapy, integrative counselling, solution focused counselling, and other styles, if they are helpful to you.
My first session
At our first session I will invite you to tell me what is bringing you to counselling at this moment in time. Is there anything in particular you would like to gain from coming to counselling. Counselling is a collaborative process. Counselling offers a safe space for you to talk with me, for me to listen, to ask you more, as a way of understanding you more and discovering with you what may be helpful ways forward.
