About me and my therapy practice
I am a person centred counsellor who uses an integrative approach. I have experience of working in schools, colleges, charities and EAPs. I have extensive knowledge of stress and anxiety as well as depression. I have significant experience of working with children and young people from aged 5 upwards as well as working with adults.
I also have provided training to young people and organisations on subjects such as
- Managing low mood
- Exam stress
- Stress and anxiety
- Managing sleep
- Motivation and confidence
Previously I was an HR manager and therefore I have a good understanding of workplace stress.
My qualifications are:
- Foundation degree in person centred counselling 2010
- Degree in person centred counselling from Warwick University 2012
- Advanced post graduate certificate in counselling supervision university of Gloucester 2014
- OCST certificate in email counselling 2016
I have significant experience of working with safeguarding issues relating to children and adults.
Practice description
My practice is based in a separate room at the bottom of my garden. It has a separate gated entrance which is accessed by a security system and there is parking just outside. The building is very discreet, private and tranquil as well as being soundproofed.
My first session
In the first session you can expect a familiarisation process and we can assess whether or not you feel that you can work with me. I will put you at ease whilst acknowledging that attending counselling can be a very anxiety provoking process. I will outline what you can expect from counselling and explore your expectations. I will also explain my experience and qualifications.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified supervisor with seven years experience of supervision. I work in a person centred way using different theoretical models.
Practice description
My practice is based in an office at the end of my garden which is secluded, tranquil and is sound proofed. There is parking facilities and a separate discreet gated access.
My first session
In a first session I offer a half hour free appointment in which we can discuss what your needs are and whether I am able to meet them. I will outline my expectations from supervisees especially around the ethical framework.
