About me and my therapy practice
Are you suffering from low self-esteem, low confidence or generally not feeling good enough about yourself? I can help you to stop ‘just surviving’ and instead start living a life more true to yourself and what is important to you.
You may be unsure what you feel, doubt your feelings, or feel as you are not as important as others? Maybe you have tried to get people to like you or tried to ensure everyone around you isare happy? You may feel like life mainly revolves around others (your children/partner etc) or you may be feeling as you just run on autopilot?
I am passionate about helping you feel more alive, have better relationships and generally feel more in tune with life. I offer a space where you can be you, without a mask and without any pressure to perform or live up to anything in particular. Whatever your concerns and worries are, I will listen out for your strengths and I aim to find possibilities in what may seem impossible if this is something you were to express you would want. I understand the importance for you to feel safe, in order to open up, and for you to feel that, whatever you bring, you are highly valued and genuinely respected.
I believe that every individual is unique and I will tailor the therapeutic process to what suits you, working collaboratively, with a naturally developing process according to what is important and of value to you. Although you will not be given advice or told what to do, I will try and help you find answers within yourself.
I have a risk assessment in place, ensuring the highest possible safety measures are adhered to, which opens up the possibility for us to meet face-to-face with a high level of safety measures in place. I am also able to support you, both online and via telephone, wherever you are, to ensure you get the support that suits you.
My first session
I offer an initial, up to 30 minutes, free telephone session, to give you a chance to explore your reasons for seeking therapy and an opportunity for you to identify your hopes and expectations of therapy. Here we also get a chance to book you in at a time that suits you and, if suitable, talk about how I can support you; online, via telephone, or in-person. You also get a chance to ask any potential questions you may have.
