About me and my therapy practice

I provide an explorative space where you are able to find more clarity, feel more at peace within yourself and feel better about those things important to you. I understand the importance for you to feel safe, and for you to feel that, whatever you bring, you are highly valued and genuinely respected.

Many clients come to me wondering 'what's wrong with me?'. By unpacking this by looking at; your values, what is important to you and how you experience things, a.s.o, it is most likely that your question no longer will be relevant as you no longer feel there is anything wrong with you. Instead you will most likely feel empowered, reassured and have a new sense of agency.

Seeking help can help us find new meanings and directions in life. It is possible to explore in-depth what stops us from being who we really want to be, to rediscover and reconnect with what’s alive in us, and to allow us the possibility of changing unhelpful patterns.

I believe that every individual is unique and I will tailor the therapeutic process to what suits you, working collaboratively, with a naturally developing process according to what is important and of value to you. Although you will not be given advice or told what to do, I will try and help you find answers within yourself. I am interested in the whole person, your mental, physical and emotional health as when these are out of balance we may begin to feel lethargic, anxious, or even start to experience significant health problems.

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
