About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, non-judgemental approach to counselling. I believe that counselling can be life-changing by providing a safe, confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
I understand that seeking help for your mental health can be an incredibly difficult step to take and I am committed to supporting you along the way.
As an Integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor, I am able to draw upon several modalities of therapy. I will tailor our sessions to your needs and use the therapeutic approaches which I believe will enable you to reach your goals.
My focus is to help you heal from your experiences and encourage you to move forward.
I provide counselling sessions in person. Due to Covid-19, face masks will be required in the building until we are seated (socially distanced).
I am also experienced in providing sessions over the telephone or online.
My first session
Finding the right counsellor to work with is really important so that you get the most beneficial outcome. With that in mind I offer my first session at £25 for 1 hour, sessions thereafter are 50 minutes.
In this initial session I take some time to carry out an evaluation where we will explore your needs and how you wish to progress. We will agree upon therapeutic goals as this can help you to understand your progress at different stages in the work.
