About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I am Sarah. I am a qualified integrative counsellor with a foundation degree in counselling. I am a registerd member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).
I trained as a counsellor as throughout my own experiences I've had in life i became passionately committed to supporting people who are struggling with their mental health/wellbeing.
My approach to counselling is integrative and I like to work in a humanistic way. I understand that all clients are diffrent so I can incorporate diffrent techniques such as mindfulness, CBT and creativity.
Due to coronavirus I am only offering online and telephone counselling.
I also have a website with more information on at sj-counselling.co.uk
My first session
Sessions are confidential and I work with clients on a long and short term basis at their pace. In the initial session we will go over the contract and how many sessions you feel you may need. Each session is 1 hour long.
However i do offer a 30 minute free consultation session to discuss your needs and see if you feel I am the right counsellor for you.
