About me and my therapy practice
Hello! My name is Anthony Davis. I am an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist located in Central London (minutes away from High Street Kensington Station).
As individuals, I believe we have different needs when looking for therapeutic support. Through a holistic, personalised approach, therapy can provide beneficial improvements in mental well-being and the decision making that is right for us.
I have over 10 years experience working as a counsellor and psychotherapist with individuals of various age groups and diverse backgrounds. Practicing in both the United States and the United Kingdom, I have worked with clients exhibiting a range of difficulties that impact their lives and cause them emotional and psychological distress.
In my practice, I can support my clients using various therapeutic approaches such as CBT, NLP, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Solution Focussed. I believe that the client should be at the centre of the therapeutic process, and my role is to help each individual find their own meaning. My goal is to help my clients develop the coping skills necessary to manage life’s difficulties, whilst also helping them to access important support networks and resources to sustain overall well-being.
I provide short-term counselling and long-term therapy in an effort to facilitate growth, enable change and foster healing of the entire person. Work with my clients varies in scope and time-frame from just a few sessions focusing on a specific concern or concerns, to 'deeper' and more far-reaching therapeutic work which can last a year or more.
I offer sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm, on Thursdays from 9am to 8pm, and on Sundays from 1pm to 5pm.
