About me and my therapy practice
***ACCEPTING ONLINE CLIENTS*** If you are quietly distressed, uncomfortable or even defiant in the face of the new challenges we face with Covid-19, finding a private space to take your concerns where you can focus on your own needs exclusively can be a relief. While many people are indoors, working from home or nervous to commune with others, online therapy can provide a haven and connection. The virus may be a catalyst to seeking therapy or there may be other aspects of your life you would like to take time to develop and address, such as your approach to romantic relationships, conflict at work or how you treat yourself.
Practice descriptionThe benefits of online therapy? The silence of home, comfortable pyjamas, your dog or cat next to you, a cup of tea, an armchair, cosy blanket and no transport. We have chance to find new ways to seek and offer support and whilst weddings and sporting events are postponed, we still need space to process, adapt and recover.
My first sessionI will continue to use secure end-to-end encrypted video conferencing for our appointments and allow flexibility as much as possible. You can book a 15 minute initial online video meeting or phone me so we can speak and see if the way that I work suits you. If scheduling doesn't fit, I will recommend suitable therapist.
