About me and my therapy practice
Thank you for visiting my profile; my name is Patricia Hagan. I am a fully qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist. I have full registered membership with the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy). I am an experienced therapist with a highly professional, confidential, open, honest and non-judgemental style of therapy. If you have made the decision to seek counselling, Well Done! Counselling is a self investment, allowing you the space and time to explore the root of life difficulties with a trained professional.
My counselling work entails an integrative approach; which means I work using a variety of approaches to suit the unique needs of each individual client, (I am experienced in Person Centred/Humanistic and CBT). I spend time getting to know my client and work in a collaborative manner to facilitate their unique journey, offering guided discovery.

My first session
After your referral is received I will arrange to schedule an appointment. The initial appointment will involve an assessment, this is to gather further information about you. This appointment provides an opportunity to get to know more about counselling and what your hopes or goals might be. In this session I spend time getting to know more about you and understanding your reasons for attending counselling.
