About me and my therapy practice
It can feel daunting to contact a therapist and consider that you may need support, but a simple telephone conversation will provide an opportunity to speak with me about any issues or concerns you wish to work on or resolve. I will explain the process of counselling and then we can arrange a convenient time to meet and discuss a suitable time framework for us to work within.
Perhaps you are overwhelmed by the pressures of life, stuck in a rut, repeating negative patterns, or trying to find a way out of anxiety or depression.
Are you using drugs or alcohol excessively and you don’t know why, or you do know why but don’t feel able to share with those around you?
Maybe you just don’t feel like ‘you’ and no one seems to be hearing you.
You may be having relationship difficulties, suffering a bereavement, feeling isolated, lonely, or simply want to work out why things are always happening to you?
Do you feel that now is the time to become unstuck in the life you have and make changes in how you relate to yourself and relate to the people around you?
Change is scary, and may seem terribly difficult when you feel that you are at your lowest but you are worth it – so let’s work it out – together!
I am a qualified, experienced Systemic Therapist and Clinical Supervisor with a flexible approach, which includes solution focused, psychodynamic, narrative and behavioural ideas. My therapeutic practice is relational and client centred and I offer a non-judgemental, caring and confidential supportive way of working.
