About me and my therapy practice

It can be hard living with a difficulty that you have been struggling with for some time or perhaps a more recent issue is troubling you. You may be feeling overwhelmed, trying to cope with anxiety or depression, or you may need to talk about your feelings following a significant life event such as a bereavement, relationship breakdown or other loss. Talking with family and friends can be a real help but sometimes it is useful to have the space to talk to a trained counsellor who is not immediately connected to your situation.

Practice description

My aim is to provide a calm, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviour allowing you to feel heard and understood. As everyone is unique with their own life experiences and difficulties, the counselling process will be different for each client. I am able to draw from a number of counselling theories and techniques to support you, enabling our work to be tailored to your specific needs. I offer short or long term work, on a one-to-one basis, with adults and young people. Depending on your needs, therapy may just be a few sessions or you may decide that working on an open ended basis feels better for you.
