About me and my therapy practice
We can find ourselves living a life that does not bring joy or fulfilment, but we continue to put one foot in front of the other in the hope that something might eventually change. This where therapy can help.
I offer a calm, safe, non-judgemental space in which you can explore and share whatever is troubling you, whether it is counselling a short term, specific issue or psychotherapy for deeper rooted problems. Therapy is a process and change takes time so the amount of sessions you may need will vary accordingly, and can be discussed at assessment.
My first session
Our first meeting will be a brief informal chat (usually by phone) to decide if I am the right person to help you. After this our first session will be arranged, I like to offer clients a regular, weekly time slot.
On our first session we will complete the necessary paperwork which includes your personal details, a short assessment and a contract that outlines the details of our working agreement
