About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I’m Tracey - welcome to my profile. I have been working as a counsellor since 2003 and believe that we all have capacity for healing and growth, despite any obstacles that might get in the way. I will support you to explore your feelings and how you experience yourself in the world and in relation to others.

Ever since I first started practising 17 years ago, my focus as a counsellor has been to offer a welcoming environment where you will be met with true acceptance and empathy.

As part of my broader work as a therapist in Norwich, I have a dedicated interest in working with people wishing to explore issues related to gender, sexuality and relationship diversity.  I use the pronouns she/her/hers and identify as lesbian/queer.

Practice description

I originally entered the profession after having had counselling myself, wishing to understand more about how the process worked and how I could support others. The impact of being seen and accepted in a therapeutic setting with another human can be incredibly healing.

I can offer you a welcoming and neutral space where you can speak freely about any distress you’re experiencing, find clarity and discover your inner resources.

I work from a tranquil setting in the heart of Norwich, and am passionate about providing a high quality queer-friendly practice where people feel accepted and understood.

My first session

The first session is offered at a reduced rate (half of my usual fee) via zoom.  It’s an opportunity for you to share a little of what brings you to counselling, for me to describe how I work and for us to see if we feel comfortable working together.
