About me and my therapy practice
I would be happy to work with you on whatever feels important to you. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is what matters most in counselling and I provide a safe, confidential environment in which we can work together.
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is what matters the most in counselling. It is important to me that you feel respected for your values and experience and supported in making your own decisions. I can offer that respect and support at Beech House Counselling by providing a safe, confidential environment in which we can work together.
I use an integrative-relational approach which means that I draw from several different counselling theories. Everyone is, after all, unique, so as an integrative counsellor I have the tools to work with each client's specific individual needs. Being able to integrate different theories allows me to help you to fully explore your emotional processes, your ways of thinking and your behaviour patterns, leading to a greater understanding of yourself. This can give you the power to make the right choices for yourself in the future.
