About me and my therapy practice
I am a person-centred Counsellor with wide ranging experience in many different areas. I currently work in a College along side my private practice, JMSWellbeing. However, I also have experience working in a homeless charity, a mental health charity and high schools. I have strong experience working both with teenagers and Adults.

As a counsellor I am able to connect well with others easily and am able to make people feel comfortable when they may previous have struggled with this. I understand that although the spoken aspects of therapy are important, I also am able to see, understand and feel what else might be going on for you through your body language and all aspects of unspoken communication which will help you feel understood, seen and heard in your complete self.
All of your feelings and experiences are welcomes with me and I would really like to be apart of your journey into feeling better within yourself and your future.

There is no obligation for you work with me if it does not feel like the right fit for you. I understand that one of the most important keys to therapeutic success is finding the right connection to your counsellor.
If you do decide that you would like to work with me. We will begin by contracting and we can go through areas of interest to you. Such as what you would like to gain, what outcomes you would like to have, how many sessions you would like to have, etc then we would begin by speaking about the reasons you have accessed counselling and we can begin working through these needs, feelings and experiences and then the sessions will be tailored towards you and what you need.
