About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm a fully qualified Counsellor and Registered BACP member and passionate advocate of talking therapies. I provide a safe, private and non judgemental space where you can explore your emotions. My aim is to help you to gain insight into your thoughts and feelings enabling you to be able to enjoy life more. You maybe feeling like you aren't coping well, overwhelmed, stressed, anxious or out of sorts and would like some support in finding solid ground. These challenging emotions are perhaps impacting your relationships and mood, possibly leading you to feel depressed or experiencing low self esteem.
I work with a variety of clients who maybe feeling confused, isolated, alone unable to cope or worried about a particular situation or emotions they are feeling such as grief, stress, anxiety, anger, depression and also those who feel they are stuck in a rut or feeling out of sorts and are struggling to understand why to name but a few?

My first session
Before we meet, I like to speak with potential clients on the telephone for a free 20 minute consultation, so that I can take a few details from you and you also have the opportunity to ask me any questions you may have.
Our first initial session would involve getting to know one another better and me finding out more about what’s brought you to counselling and what you would like to get out of our sessions. Together we can decide how we can move forward.
Each session is scheduled for 50 minutes, usually at the same time each week although I understand this is not always possible and I will try to accommodate you as best I can.
We can discuss what you think would work best for you, a series of sessions or perhaps you would prefer to leave this open ended.
