About me and my therapy practice
Hello,
Can I support you to improve your relationships, reduce anxiety and stress? I offer counselling for individuals and couples to explore unhelpful feelings, thoughts and behaviour so you can improve your relationships, mental health and well-being.
As a qualified integrative counsellor I offer brief and longer-term counselling to suit your needs.
Counselling can enable you to make sense and meaning of your experiences, develop insight and new ways to adjust and move forward.
From working in counselling agencies in the West Midlands and Warwickshire, I am experienced in a wide range of concerns including:
Relationship and family issues, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, work related stress, abuse, trauma, bereavement and loss. This includes bereavement counselling for parents who have experienced miscarriage, neonatal and infant loss.
I specialise in working with clients who want to improve their relationships with themselves and others. Through a therapeutic relationship we all have the potential to increase self-awareness and create change in our lives.
The person-centred approach, is the foundation of how I work and I integrate a variety of CBT, Psychodynamic and Mindfulness interventions based on evidence-based research of what works in therapy.
