About me and my therapy practice
I will work collaboratively with you, ensuring that you feel comfortable during the sessions and are getting what you need out of them. My training was in integrative therapy, meaning I work flexibly and draw on several approaches, however, it is mainly trauma and humanistic approaches that I draw upon.
I offer walking sessions in Plymouth and online sessions.
A walking session is where the therapy session is conducted outside whilst walking in nature. This is a wonderful way of working as it harnesses the therapeutic effects both of movement and time in nature.
Here are some examples of exercises and tools we may decide to use in our work (during the sessions and/or outside of them): mindfulness, embodiment, movement, breathing practices, writing, and nature connection.
Please see my website for more information about my qualifications, experience, and how I work: https://therapywithbeth.wordpress.com/
Do get in touch if you're interested in having therapy with me and have any questions.
