About me and my therapy practice

I have been counselling professionally since January 1987.

I have worked in local NHS, Occupational Health, and University settings as a counsellor.

I have also lectured at Post Graduate level on professional training in integrative psychotherapy at Warwick University and UCLAN

I presently also deliver some freelance training in Mental Health Awareness and Compassion Fatigue. I like to maintain a small caseload of clients.

My particular areas of interest are:- depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, burnout, and helping people move forward when they are stuck or lost. I like to help people resolve issues and enable meaningful and realistic change for themselves.

I only see clients aged 18 years +

Practice description

I am presently offering face to face contact and also offer contact via zoom /skype or telephone.

My first session

My first session is always free of charge. This enables us to meet and discuss why you are seeking help now, and talk through what may be possible. It allows an opportunity for you to ask questions about my work and us both to plan a way forward in regard to what next.
