About me and my therapy practice
There are probably times when we could all benefit from some quiet space to catch up with ourselves, to think through what may be troubling us, or to contemplate changes that we may like to make in our personal or professional lives (big or small).
I can help you in this by providing a supportive and confidential space in which you can talk through whatever is on your mind, without being judged or told what you "should" or "should not" think, feel or do.
By combining counselling skills (to help you look at your situation in different ways) with coaching skills (to develop and implement a plan of action) in a way that matches your needs, I can work with you to address whatever is on your mind.
I have many years’ experience of working in Human Resources (HR) where I have held senior generalist roles in a variety of different organisations and business sectors (professional services, medical research, technology, biotech, pharmaceutical, nuclear power generation). I have worked for small and large organisations and for entrepreneurial start ups as well as for established businesses. I am therefore well placed to understand the challenges that often arise for individuals within the workplace.
I also have training and experience as a bereavement counsellor.
Due to the current COVID restrictions I am working online (Zoom), via the telephone or WhatsApp video calls.
I also offer "walk and talk" sessions if you prefer to talk in the more informal environment of the outdoors.
