About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor registered with the BACP. I have a Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (Distinction) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychology.
I am trained in several different types of therapeutic approach (including humanistic psychotherapy, CBT and a psychodynamic approach) so, together, we can work out what will suit you best.
I specialise in working with barristers, solicitors and other legal professionals, having practised at the Bar for 10 years. I have, however, worked with a wide variety of people from all walks of life, and with many different reasons for coming to therapy. I have experience working for the NHS and work online or in person in London.
It is important to me that you feel comfortable to talk about your problems, experiences and personal thoughts. While you will have some immediate pressing issues that bring you to therapy, there may also be some longer-term, underlying issues concerning you.
My approach tends to be active and engaged and my aim is to help you achieve insight into what makes you tick. We will work collaboratively to develop strategies that assist you in living a complete, fulfilling life.
My first session
I offer an initial 30 minute video call at no charge for us to decide if we might work well together.
Types of therapy
CBT, Existential, Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Phenomenological, Psychodynamic, Relational
Clients I work with
Adults, Older adults, Organisations, Trainee, Young people
How I deliver therapy
Long-term face-to-face work, Online counselling, Short-term face-to-face work, Telephone counselling, Time-limited
