About me and my therapy practice
As a Child and Adult Psychotherapist, I specialises in working with trauma and dissociation with children, young people and adults. I have over 25 years’ experience working therapeutically in a range of settings, and is the owner of Midlands based Therapy Center, Broad Horizons. I am a registered Gestalt Psychotherapist, Counsellor, CBT therapist, Play Therapist and Social Worker. Alongside my therapeutic practice I am a Senior Lecturer in Counselling at the University of Northampton. I lecture, researches and publishes nationally and internationally in the field of trauma and dissociation.
As well as therapy, teaching and consultation Claire is secretary of the Europe Society for Trauma and Dissociation, along with being a board member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy for Children, Young People and Families.
