About me and my therapy practice

I’m Vicky and I’m a BACP registered psychotherapist and HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist. I work with individuals, families and couples. I offer therapy in Spanish and in English, both online and in-person in Hackney, East London.

I believe that self-awareness and authenticity are key in creating deeper and more satisfying connections.

In our therapeutic space, I will offer you a safe, open and compassionate space and I will invite you to explore aspects of yourself and how you relate to others. We will look at the stories that you’ve created over the years about yourself, how they impact the way you feel nowadays and bring about new perspectives that could help you feel less constricted moving forwards.

My work is informed by systemic theory and attachment theory and I place a big focus on working with emotions experientially. However, I believe that because we are all diverse and need different things, at different times, there is no one-size fits all when it comes to therapy. We will co-create the therapeutic space together based on what you need and what you are looking for.

I take pride in the feedback that my clients find me warm, empathetic and relatable.

Like all registered psychotherapists, I can work with a wide range of issues, but I have a special interest and additional experience with:

- Anxiety and depression

- Couple/family issues

- Trauma

- Cultural adjustment difficulties

- Low self-esteem
