About me and my therapy practice
During Covid-19 pandemic and the ever changing situation, I have been working with clients via video calls or if you feel confused or uncertain or generally not able to process things as you once did therapy will enable you to explore these feelings and help to reduce anxiety/depression.
Life can be difficult we often experience periods of struggle or confusion, where we may feel lost or despondent, we are currently going through a period of uncertainty, I invite you to get in touch, whatever may be causing you distress.
It is a non-judgemental space for emotional, psychological and spiritual enquiry.
Therapy offers a safe, supportive and confidential space to explore your feelings, frustrations, fears and concerns.
Exploring your feelings in this way can help you gain insight and clarity around the issues causing difficulties and the challenges you may be facing.
I will work alongside you, offering compassion and support, as we together explore ways for you to gain a greater sense of understanding and clarity, a stronger sense of self, to help you move forward and flourish in your life and relationships. I have 16 years experience within the NHS, I work with people from diverse backgrounds with many different issues. My style is challenging, relational and non-judgmental.
My specialist areas are loss, bereavement, trauma and sexual abuse working with depression and anxiety. Working psychodynamically means we can explore, creatively the difficulties you are experiencing, focusing on the patterns that might have helped you cope in the past but are less useful now, whilst recognising that current difficulties really matter.
Over time I can help you to develop new insight and understanding of yourself and your relationships. You'll begin to feel autonomy to make choices about how you interact with the world around you and more comfortable in your own skin.
