About me and my therapy practice
My name is Lisa, I qualified as a Integrative Counsellor in 2009 at the prestigious Iron Mill Institute in the beautiful town of Exeter in Devon. My training was centred around connecting both science and art to understand the human condition. The connection of both mind and body and the interplay between the two.
After working for some years as a Counsellor in schools, and a mental health worker in secure units and a homeless hostel. I created Dawn Therapy Counselling Practice. I offer young adults and adults a discreet, personal and warm space. Which is centred wholly around your needs. I work intuitively and respectfully within your comfort zone, to compassionately explore the areas within your life that you feel you would like to understand and process, to move forward more freely and confidently in your next life chapter.
As the session is entirely related around you and how you would like to live your life. We can use the space to explore your wants, needs, dreams, beliefs and values. As I truly believe only one a person is heard can a person begin to heal.
