About me and my therapy practice
Life can get difficult, and sometimes a little help from a professionally trained counsellor can make a positive difference. Caring about your well-being, I offer a confidential, safe, non judgemental space that encourages and allows you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours in support of you developing a greater understanding of yourself, and build the confidence to come to your own resolve and enabling you to continue on your life's journey with a deeper sense of knowing and peace.
I believe in the beauty of individuality, where we each nourish the world with our unique differences and experiences. With us each holding the potential to flourish and be the best that we can be.
A one size approach doesn't fit all, therefore my having the ability to work from an integrative perception, enables me to blend differing methodology, theory and approaches to bespoke an approach that best suits you to support you embark upon a journey of self discovery.
We will work together in support of you coming to your own resolve of current problems and improve positive thinking and behaviour at your own pace. I will help you “re-frame” your reactions by you developing a greater understanding of yourself and suggest valuable tools for you to adopt that may help you manage life’s obstacles and challenges.
Our purpose built reflective space that offers the opportunity to contemplate, process and share. whilst considering and engaging with differing and new perceptions, attitudes, and feelings that work towards supporting a transitional shift in thought and behaviour.
Face to face appointments take place overlooking stunning natural scenery. An outlook that promotes and encourages calm. The perfect place to pause and reflect.
My first session
Following an initial free 15 minute discussion, our first session will be one of discovery where I listen and hear more of what you are wanting to achieve. I will observe behaviour and may make use of assessment style questioning techniques.
