About me and my therapy practice

The struggles we meet in our lives can become overwhelming; I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can share whatever you are facing and together we can help you to discover your own way forward. Moving through what is difficult, stuck and what hurts with real support and commitment to the counselling process can enable changes that before felt unreachable to gradually unfold within.

I have a wide range of experience working with different challenges that people face including anxiety, panic disorder, depression, relationship issues and family issues, self-esteem struggles, bereavement, addiction, trauma / PTSD, adult and childhood experiences of abuse, OCD, eating disorders, mental health difficulties and suicidal feelings.

My Therapy room is a peaceful and private space  5-10 mins walking distance from Glastonbury town center.

I also offer Creative Therapy alongside Talking Therapy- this can be a powerful tool for inspiring change in our lives. It might involve the use of colour, movement, sound, paint, clay, crafts, sand-play, writing... whatever you are drawn to that helps you to unfold and discover in a warm, non-judgmental environment.

I studied and gained my CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling with Strode College in Street, Somerset after working as a care and support worker for people with mental health difficulties, people with learning disabilities and elders.

I have worked for Mind and New Dawn Counselling Agencies as well as working in Private Practice. I graduated from Winchester University with a BA honors in Dance and Drama Studies combined.

I have CPD training in many different areas including Creative Therapy, Movement and Dance Therapy, working with Mental Health Difficulties, working with Trauma and Sexual Trauma, working with Eating Disorders and working with Addiction. I am dedicated to ongoing regular Continuing Professional Development.
