About me and my therapy practice

The struggles we meet in our lives can become overwhelming; I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can share whatever you are facing and together we can help you to discover your own way forward. I have a wide range of experience working with different challenges people may face including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, PTSD, relationship and family difficulties, bereavement, self-esteem struggles, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, suicidal feelings, addiction, mental health difficulties and counselling for self development.

I work with a client-centered approach, meaning that you are empowered to move through counselling in ways that meet you and your experiences as an individual. I incorporate this with other psychotherapeutic approaches that may be suited to your needs and effective for the specific struggles you are facing. I also offer the opportunity to incorporate Creative Therapy alongside Talking Therapy. This might involve the use of crafts, paint, clay, movement, sound, sand-play, poetry... whatever you are drawn to that helps you to explore within a warm, non-judgmental environment.

My therapy room is a peaceful, private space 5-10 mins walking distance from Glastonbury town centre. I offer a concessionary rate for those whose personal circumstances require a reduced fee; Please feel free to ask about this.

I studied and gained my CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling with Strode College and have worked for Mind and New Dawn Counselling Agencies as well as working in Private Practice. I've completed CPD training in many different areas including Creative Therapy, Movement and Dance Therapy, working with Mental Health Difficulties, working with Trauma and Sexual Trauma, working with Eating Disorders and working with Addiction. I am dedicated to ongoing regular Continuing Professional Development.
