About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Jenna and I am a Humanistic integrative counsellor, which means that I believe that people are the experts on themselves and that we each have the ability and the resources within us to change and heal, however, sometimes we need a little help to discover them.
Being an integrative counsellor enables me to draw elements from several different approaches and tailor sessions to each individual's needs.
I have valuable experience working with the RNIB, helping clients with vision loss and other disabilities come to terms with what has happened, along with issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement and Low self-esteem.
I work on a one-to-one basis which allows for a good therapeutic relationship to develop, one which is open, honest and genuine from both sides. I believe that the relationship is key for successful therapy to take place.
I am a warm, friendly person who will offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space to explore and talk about your issues openly
Together we will explore the thoughts, feelings or behaviours that have brought you to counselling in a way that helps you to feel empowered and able to make the necessary changes to move forward.

I currently offer 50 minute online and telephone counselling sessions delivered on a long term or short term basis to suit the needs of the client.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minute initial appointment so that we can meet and discuss what is bringing you to counselling and also what your expectations and goals might be. It is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and to decide if you feel counselling is for you. If you would then like to go ahead with the sessions I would then ask for any information I need and send you the client assessment and contract which is an agreement between us that will outline confidentiality, boundaries and expectations.
