About me and my therapy practice
Seeking counselling is one of the hardest yet bravest things to do in caring for your mental wellbeing. As an integrative psychotherapist, I work with issues including anxiety, chronic illness, eating disorders, loss, relationships and self-esteem.
My name is Elizabeth, an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. I work across a number therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment and Person-centred Therapy (PCT) to provide support and guidance shaped to your needs.
I have worked with clients of varying ages and backgrounds supporting them with their mental health needs, to promote lifestyle changes, encourage wellness and to help them to feel stronger within themselves.
Areas I work with included:
Abuse, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Eating disorders, Grief and loss, Low mood, Managing long-term conditions/chronic illness, Relationships, Self-esteem, Self-harm and injury, Substance abuse, Wellness and mindfulness and Work related stress
My first session
I offer an initial free half hour better understanding session to discuss the issues you are facing. This help us get to know each other a little better; what your expectations and needs are from counselling and also for you to learn how best I can support you.
