About me and my therapy practice
I specialise in working with adults, young people and children. My approach is integrative, and underpinned by the person- centred model this may include introducing a range of play and creative, art and discussion to enable the person to feel safe to express themselves freely.
From my own experience I believe that Counselling can offer you the time and space to speak about the issues that concerns you, whether that be, loss, bereavement, separation, anxiety, work related issues and family issues all of which can affect us in profoundly different ways. How an individual copes with these issues depend on how they view themselves in this world, there history and patterns of behaviour. Being able to speak about your experiences in a non- judgemental, empathetic, confidential, respectful environment will support you to get a deeper insight in order to gain clarity to make conscious changes in the present.
