About me and my therapy practice
I am a Registered Hypnotherapist, Licensed Neuro-Linguistic Practitioner, and a Registered Psychotherapist/ Counsellor MBACP.
I hold an MA (specialised counselling), a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychological Counselling(PGCPsyCouns-Grade A)and a Professional Diploma in Hypnotherapy (Honours). I am Member of the World Federation of Hypnotherapists (MWFH), the Society of Hypno-analysts (MSHA) and the Society of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (MSNLP) USA.
I am able to use a variety of Psycho therapeutic tools in combination with Hypnosis to enhance the efficiency of therapy. Individuals can opt out from Hypnosis so treatments can be planned according to the needs and wishes.
I have specialised in substance dependency treatment and I can help with a variety of other psychological and psycho-physiological concerns, i.e. anxiety led issues such as specific and generalised anxieties, phobias, traumas, mood related issues and pain management to name a few briefly. I can take stage 1 assessments free of charge on phone then stage 2 assessment and treatment in face to face one to ones.
I have been working in the field since 1986 offering individual treatment, education and teaching in the UK and abroad.
I am fluent (spoken and written) in Sinhalese language as well.
