About me and my therapy practice

I offer person-centred supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists, as well as other people across the helping professions to support their ongoing practice.

I also provide supervision for anyone requiring a space for reflective practice on their work, clients, professional and personal development.

My style is grounded in the humanistic modalities, in particular the person-centred approach but is greatly influenced by everything I have learned, experienced and continue to explore.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist providing a professional and confidential service in a peaceful and safe environment in which you can explore your problems, your life or whatever it is that is affecting your well-being at this time.

The type of counselling that I offer aims to empower you so that you can work through your problems yourself. It facilitates and nurtures the inherent healing ability in you. I provide a safe space and therapeutic relationship that is conducive in helping you do this.

I also provide relationship counselling for couples with the emphasis on communication; please read my couples counselling page on my website fully before enquiring to ensure I am the right therapist for you both and your needs at this time.

I am a humanistic counsellor / psychotherapist, with a particular passion for the person-centred approach. I also draw on other theoretical approaches, modalities and techniques which enable me to tailor the way in which I work with you to most suit your needs. I may also bring in other techniques I’ve learned and experienced such as mindfulness, meditation, visualisation, and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).

Practice description

As well as being a BACP Accredited Counsellor / Psychotherapist, I also offer Supervision and Coaching. I have an established private practice based in Derby with 20 years’ experience of working therapeutically with clients.

For couples an initial consultation of 1.5 hours is £100. Thereafter each session is £75 per hour on an appointment by appointment basis. See my website for further details.
