About me and my therapy practice

My practise is located in a quiet area of Birch Green, near Hertford. 

I have worked in mental health services for a number of years, working for a leading mental health charity. As a psychotherapist and as part of a team, we provided community based services to people living with and recovering from mental health issues. Previously I worked within an antenatal department of the NHS providing counselling to both perinatal and postnatal women and their partners. And prior to this, for a social care and health charity counselling individuals affected by drugs, alcohol, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse and antisocial behaviour, where I gained a great deal of experience with on-going addiction and recovery.

Practice description

As a professionally trained Psychodynamic counsellor, I offer a safe, confidential place where you can talk about yourself and problems or issues you are desperately trying to cope with. I will offer you the opportunity to think and talk about yourself and your concerns in a way that you often cannot do with family and friends, as they may be too emotionally involved.

My first session

Please call or email me to discuss arranging an initial session where you will have the opportunity to talk about your reasons for seeking counselling.
