I am able to offer face to face sessions as I follow Government and BACP guidance regarding your safety as well as offering online and telephone counselling during the daytime and evening.
I have a Covid19 risk assessment which is available on request or please do get in touch if you have any further questions regarding safety.
I ask all clients engaging with face to face sessions to:
1. Wear a mask entering and leaving the counselling room
2. Hand sanitise before entering and exiting
3. Keep a safe distance of at least 2m's at all times whilst in the counselling room.
About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Diane and a warm welcome to my profile.
I am a professional and compassionate counsellor and within your counselling sessions I will work at your pace whilst providing a non judgemental, respectful and empathetic space. My skills and experience as a counsellor enable me to look at promoting your empowerment and your understanding of what it means to be you which can prove to be life changing.
As a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) I can also offer structure to your sessions as you uncover your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. Working in an educative and collaborative way during your sessions I can help you to develop strategies to reach your goal.
I have experience of working with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, panic, anger, loss and more areas listed below.

I work from a private lakeside room at my home and I see clients on a weekly basis who are resident in the UK either face to face, on line or via telephone sessions.
Our therapeutic relationship is key and you are my main priority during your sessions, providing a safe space for you to talk freely about how you truly feel. As a Person Centred Counsellor and CBT Therapist I am able to offer both models of therapy within your session working with you collaboratively.
As a registered member of the BACP I work in line with their Ethical Framework and maintain their standards of conduct as a counsellor ensuring a professional and ethical way of working.
My first session
After an initial 20 minute free introductory call your 1st session has arrived. What can you expect from me?
A 1st counselling session may naturally feel daunting but it is a time for us to meet properly, for you to explore how you are feeling, look at goals you may have and your expectations of counselling. It is a safe confidential space, free from any judgement or advice giving, it is your time to explore and discover what you need from counselling with me.
It is also a time to complete our Counselling Working agreement for the services I offer and ensuring you are comfortable and aware of how I work.
