At this moment due to restrictions of Corona virus I will only be able to work online or via telephone. I am in the process of locating some safe premises so that I can start seeing clients face to face again soon.

About me and my therapy practice

As a therapist I work hard with the client to work out the needs of the individual and their current situation. I offer Integrative Counselling/Psychotherapy which may include the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectic Behaviour Therapy or Compassion Focused Therapy.  I can work in short and longer time frames depending on the presenting issue. Whatever the therapy I am a supportive, compassionate, empathetic therapist. I have a passion for nurturing long term change and helping clients to achieve their goals.

Practice description

I have over a decade’s experience and worked in a range of NHS and charity settings with adults these include Mind IAPT service, Women and Girls Network and For Healthy Weight (also known as the bariatric consultancy). This has involved working with any sort of sexual violence/violence against women, obesity and disordered eating, trauma, depression and anxiety disorders.

Whatever the issue you may be experiencing you are at the centre of our therapy sessions and together we can work to find a way through what you might be experiencing in a safe and compassionate environment.

At this moment due to restrictions of Corona virus I will only be able to work online or via telephone. I am in the process of locating some safe premises so that I can start seeing supervisees face to face again soon.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an Integrative Counsellor/Psychotherapist and Supervisor and work within the BACP and BABCP ethical framework. I believe in a collaborative and integrative supervision space. Supervision should be a reflective, encouraging, supportive whilst also being a gently challenging space where you feel able to share good and bad experiences. I am a great believer in the importance of self-care for the helping professions and this is intrinsic to good therapy and supervision. I encourage growth and learning in order to become the best therapist you can.
